Tshopangma Coal Mine is located at Tshopangma, Martsalla Gewog, in the Samdrup Jongkhar District of Bhutan. Operated by the State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL), this coal mine has been in operation since 2017.
Dzongthung Stone Quarry
Dzongthung Stone Quarry is located at Dzongthung, Bartsham Gewog, in the Trashigang District of Bhutan. Operated by the State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL), this quarry has been in operation since 2018.
Habrang Coal mine
Habrang Coal Mine is located at Khatoethang Chiwog, Phuntshothang Gewog, in the Samdrup Jongkhar District of Bhutan. This mine is significant as it is the first coal mine operated by the State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL), which began operations in 2016.
Khothakpa Gypsum Mine
Khothakpa Gypsum Mine is located in Khothakpa Village under Shumar Gewog, Pemagatshel Dzongkhag, Bhutan. This mine has been operated by the State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL) since 2019, following a history of various operators.
Chunaikhola Dolomite Mine
Chunaikhola Dolomite Mine is situated in Chunaikhola, Nyoenpaling Gewog, within the Samtse District of Bhutan. Operated by the State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL), the mine commenced its activities in 2020, following a transition from previous operators.
